Super nice destination, good, varied food on a great beach.

Went there in autumn with 6 people and it was very tasty. Great and attentive service, very child-friendly. In addition, all dishes came together so that nobody had to wait. Definitely order the Italian eggnog as a “dessert” - it is absolutely worth it 😊

One of the most beautiful beaches in East Frisia, about 5 km outside the town center in the eastern part of the beautiful island of Norderney. As a result, not so crowded even in the main season, here you can relax wonderfully.

This place is currently closed. Still highly recommended. As far as I know, the restaurant is also one of the so-called Michelin awarded restaurants. First class, great atmosphere and also interesting in terms of price.

Very nice atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and the food tasted very good. The adjoining beach is very well connected to the restaurant, so you have a nice view from the windows.

Place to be! Great restaurant, great ambience, delicious food! The service staff are very young, sometimes seem inexperienced, but always very friendly and responsive. Unfortunately on the homepage it is not really clear that in the evening there are only the dishes from the evening menu, and this is clearly different: a wide range during the day, for every taste, the popular currywurst, low prices. In the evening: rather upscale cuisine, very special dishes, significantly higher prices! Strange: the White Dune closes from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and you are asked to leave so that you can “set yourself up” for the evening ... This is annoying when you arrive at 5:30 p.m. after a great walk on the beach Clock arrives. And a clear point of criticism: if you close for an hour to prepare the restaurant for the evening, this should also include the toilets including wash basins and rubbish bins!

It was very delicious. Despite waiting outside, it went quickly. Nice, brisk staff.

We were there in the evening about 3-4 weeks ago. Before that, we looked at the map online and were really looking forward to it. So we went there and were quickly brought to our seats, which we thought was good. Then the disappointment: the menu was really incredibly poor. There was nothing on the map on the internet. When asked whether you could just put a meatball on the vegetarian burger, we got the answer: “No, that doesn't work. The kitchen is strict ”. But it wasn't even asked. The “corona card” could have been pointed out on the homepage. It also says that only cash payments are possible. This has changed and you can also pay by card. We do not recommend the restaurant.

Always an absolute MUST when we are on the island. The food tastes really good. You sit comfortably and your wishes are always met as best you can. Very child and dog friendly. We will be back.

The actual dune is really beautiful. The beach is really worth seeing. I can't say anything about the gastronomy, it felt like a 100m line of people to get a seat.

The queue was at least 100 meters long, so we couldn't even try the culinary delights. Far and wide no alternative if you arrive by bus.

Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes outside for a table of two to be allocated. Thanks to the friendly and prompt service from one of the staff, it quickly became more delicious Apple and plum cake served with coffee which made us forget our waiting time. There is always a lot going on here!

Nice starting point on Norderney beach. Very tasty food, prices ok, staff friendly. However, especially during the holiday season, it is more than just well attended, so that a place becomes a matter of luck.

The beach has pretty light sand, The beach restaurant was very busy with a very long wait.

Great service staff young and nice. The in-house beer is from Swabia and tastes delicious

Despite Corona measures, we were led to a Risch within 15 minutes. The food, Wiener schnitzel and the veggie burger, which is particularly recommended, were freshly prepared and tasted really delicious. The waitress has to say that they were always friendly and nice to the guests. It was definitely not our last visit! @

Unfortunately the description of the dishes it is not ajustes to what you get, bringing problems with intolerances. They did not seem to care.

We only came to drink because it was raining. The drinks came straight away and the service was very nice. What you could see in the food of the other guests, it looked very (!) Delicious.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great; two star deduction because the cashier was very grumpy and did not want to accept the card payment. We had eaten for over € 150 and at the time of paying by card she wasn't ready to talk to us anymore. very rude and you don't feel welcome anymore. [Update 8/15] went to eat there one more time and had a much friendlier service! Hence now 4 stars

Very well attended in the high season (jam packed), but the employees are always in a good mood. Totally cozy in the off-season. The food is top notch no matter what, it's delicious !!

Been there twice. Once in the evening and once in the afternoon. Every time (despite the busy schedule), the service was great and very well fed. Definitely one of the best restaurants on Norderney. The young team is friendly, easy-going, attentive and ready for a conversation. The kitchen speaks for itself. Definitely a must for connoisseurs!

Lil to crowded and only cash payments 😑. There are better options out there in Norderney.
